LIFE CYCLE The male puffin builds a nest for the female puffin to lay 1 to 5 white speckled eggs. Puffins always guard there baby puffins or baby puffin eggs from danger. It takes 40 to 43 days for a puffin egg to hatch
ADAPTIONS Puffins have orange and black beaks with a white belly, white face and everything else is black except for the feet which is orange.
